The most famous smartphones in the world are the Samsung Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A51. There is no doubt that it will be the same fate for the Galaxy A52. This is obviously one of Samsung’s most important smartphones and now for the first time, we can take a look at it.
There will be no big design changes, as you can see. Except that the sensor modules have been visually larger due to larger protective lenses, the smartphone would look very similar to the Galaxy A51.
The source notes that the system will receive a 6.5-inch diagonal AMOLED display, a plastic shell, a quad camera, a headphone jack, and will be 159.9 x 75.1 x 8.4 mm in size.
No other data is available, but early reports have shown that the smartphone will be based on the Snapdragon 750G SoC, i.e. 5G will be supported by the Galaxy A52. It is uncertain, though doubtful, whether there would be a more affordable version without support for fifth-generation networks.
In early 2020, SAMSUNG GALAXY A51 became the most successful Android smartphone
Strategy Analytics revealed the ranking of the most popular smartphones running the Android operating system in the first quarter of this year.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 leads the list. Its sales amounted to about 6 million units during January-March, which corresponds to approximately 2.3 percent of the global market.
We have Redmi 8 in second position with a 1.9 percent share. Moreover, we have the Samsung Galaxy S20+ with a result of 1.7 percent in the third place.
The Samsung Galaxy A10s and Redmi Note 8 smartphones are next, each occupying about 1.6 percent of the market. They are followed by the Samsung Galaxy A20s with a share of about 1.4 percent.
If we look at the smartphone industry as a whole then the latest coronavirus has severely hurt it. The pandemic has resulted in the closing of shops and retail outlets worldwide.
274.8 million smartphones were sold globally in the first quarter of this year, according to Strategy Analytics. Compared to the first quarter last year when shipments amounted to 330.4 million units, this is 17 percent fewer. A reminder of the requirements for the Galaxy A51 is here.
